AN ACT concerning
State Documents Law
For the purpose of providing for publication of indices
and an annual cumulative index to the Maryland
Register; clarifying the provisions that relate to
incorporation by reference of certain publications
into the Code of Maryland Regulations and Maryland
Register; modifying the provisions that relate to
required publication before amendment, or repeal of
rules; modifying the procedures for filing emergency
rules; clarifying the provisions that relate to
official texts of documents; specifying the
requirements for amendment and correction of
official texts; specifying that the contents of the
Maryland Register and Code of Maryland Regulations
shall be judicially noticed; requiring certain
procedures before reprinting of certain documents
published in the Maryland Register and Code of
Maryland Regulations; specifying that, except under
certain conditions, provisions of documents are
severable; defining the term "Code of Maryland
Regulations" to include permanent supplements to the
Code and deleting unnecessary references to the
supplement; and clarifying the language of,
renumbering certain provisions of, and generally
relating to the State Documents Law.
