therefore, be it
RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That
the [[Department of Economic and Community Development,
the Department of Natural Resources, and the]]
Environmental Health Administration of the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene be requested to form a study
committee, with the assistance of the Departments of
Economic and Community Development and Natural Resources,
to promulgate guidelines to the floodproofing of sewage
facilities in the State; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the proposed study committee be
requested, not later than October 1, 1976, to present at
least a preliminary report to the members of the General
Assembly of Maryland indicating plans and possibilities
for the alleviation of further pollution of State waters,
and guidelines for the floodproofing of sewage facilities
in the State; and be it further
RESOLVED, That each department addressed by this
Resolution immediately devote itself to the present
protection of State waters from pollution from
overflowing sewage facilities; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of the report be sent to the
Governor and to the Department of State Planning so that
it may be evaluated for any impact on the State's Capital
Improvement Program; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be sent to
