(C)    THE [[AMOUNT OF WORK ASSIGNED]] TIME__ON THE

ASSIGNMENT SHALL BE DETERMINED [[BY THE AMOUNT OF THE
BUDGET DEFICIT OF THE RECIPIENT AND HIS FAMILY]] (1) FOR

THE BASIC GRANT, BY DIVIDING THE AMOUNT OF THE MONTHLY

GENERAL PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO EMPLOYABLES BY THE

APPLICABLE HOURLY RATE OR THE MINIMUM WAGE RATE,

WHICHEVER IS GREATER; (2) FOR THE BONUS GRANT, IF

APPLICABLE, BY DIVIDING THE AMOUNT OF THE BONUS GRANT BY

THE APPLICABLE HOURLY RATE__OR__MINIMUM WAGE RATE,

WHICHEVER IS GREATER. NO PERSON SHALL BE REQUIRED TO
[[WORK MORE]] SPEND MORE TIME THAN WOULD BE NECESSARY TO
[[EARN THIS AMOUNT]] QUALIFY FOR THE BASIC GRANT. THE

RECIPIENT MAY, AT HIS OPTION, ELECT TO [[WORK]] SPEND AN

ADDITIONAL PERIOD OF TIME WHICH WOULD BE SUFFICIENT TO

[[EARN AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO UP TO [[15]] 20 PERCENT OF THE

BUDGET DEFICIT OF THE RECIPIENT AND HIS FAMILY.___IF THE

RECIPIENT WORKS AN ADDITIONAL PERIOD IN EXCESS OF THAT
WHICH WOULD BE SUFFICIENT TO EARN THE BUDGET DEFICIT OF
THE RECIPIENT AND HIS FAMILY, THE SOCIAL SERVICES

ADMINISTRATION SHALL MAKE AN__ADDITIONAL GRANT TO THE

RECIPIENT. THE AMOUNT OF THE ADDITIONAL GRANT:

(1) SHALL BE COMMENSURATE WITH THE AMOUNT OF
ADDITIONAL TIME WORKED BY THE RECIPIENT AND THE NORMAL
AND USUAL RATE OF PAY APPLICABLE TO THE TYPE OF WORK
PERFORMED;

(2) SHALL NOT IN ANY WAY AFFECT ANY OTHER

PUBLIC ASSISTANCE GRANT; AND

(3) SHALL NOT EXCEED [[15]] 20 PERCENT OF

THE BUDGET DEFICIT OF THE RECIPIENT AND HIS FAMILY.

NO PERSON SHALL BE REQUIRED TO WORK MORE THAN EIGHT HOURS
IN A DAY NOR MORE THAN 40 HOURS IN A WEEK.]] QUALIFY HIM

FOR THE WORK BONUS GRANT.__NO PERSON SHALL BE REQUIRED TO

WORK MORE THAN 40 HOURS PER WEEK, OR EIGHT HOURS PER DAY.

(D)    A PERSON MAY NOT BE PLACED IN A PUBLIC JOB
UNDER THIS PROGRAM UNTIL EVERY EFFORT HAS BEEN MADE BY
THE LOCAL OFFICE OF EMPLOYMENT SECURITY TO SECURE PRIVATE
EMPLOYMENT FOR HIM.

(E)   THE LOCAL SOCIAL SERVICES OFFICE AND THE LOCAL
OFFICE OF EMPLOYMENT SECURITY SHALL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO
SECURE PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT IN EITHER PUBLIC OR PRIVATE
POSITIONS FOR THOSE PERSONS EMPLOYED PURSUANT TO THIS
SECTION [[WHO HAVE COMPLETED TWO YEARS OF SERVICE]].

(F)     ANY PERSON WHO DOES NOT PERFORM THE WORK HE
HAS BEEN ASSIGNED SHALL BECOME INELIGIBLE FOR [[PUBLIC
ASSISTANCE]] GENERAL PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO EMPLOYABLES.

(A)           FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTIONS 17A-1[[, 17A-2,

AND 17A-3]] AND 17A-2 A PERSON IS NOT EMPLOYABLE IF HE IS
UNABLE TO WORK BECAUSE OF: (I) ILLNESS OR SIGNIFICANT AND
