[thereof] to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic
beverages at retail at any hotel or restaurant at the
place [therein] described, for consumption on the
premises or elsewhere, [except in Dorchester, Queen
Anne's and Somerset counties where consumption of wine
and liquor shall be on the premises only and in Frederick
County and Prince George's County where consumption is]
OR as provided [herein] IN THE FOLLOWING SUBSECTIONS.
The annual fee for [such a] THIS license [shall be seven
hundred and fifty dollars ($750.00)] IS $750, except as
[hereinafter] provided, and [shall be] IS payable to
[said] THE clerk, before any [such] license is issued,
for distribution as [hereinafter] provided IN THIS
ARTICLE.

(B)        THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO ALLEGANY

COUNTY.

[(b)] (C) In Anne Arundel County, outside of the
City of Annapolis, the annual license fee [therefor shall
be eight hundred dollars ($800.00)] IS $800.

(D)         IN BALTIMORE CITY, THIS LICENSE SHALL BE

ISSUED ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS UNDER SECTION 19(A).

[(c)] (E) In Baltimore County the annual fee for
[such] a license [shall be] IS $1,000. The area of the
licensed premises normally used as a restaurant for the
preparation and consumption of food and beverage on the
premises may occupy no less than 80 percent of the square
foot area.

[(d)] (F) In Calvert County the annual license fee
for each [such a] license [shall be one thousand dollars
($1,000.00)] IS $1,000.

[(d—1)] (G) In Caroline County, bona fide hotels and
restaurants shall be entitled to serve liquors, wines and
beers by the drink only and only upon the premises
[thereof].           On Sunday, sales shall only be made by

seven—day licensees and shall only be permitted between
the hours of 12 o'clock midnight on Saturday and 2
o'clock a.m. and between 12 o'clock noon and 12 o'clock
midnight.           The annual license fees for [such] THE

license [shall be seven hundred and fifty dollars
($750.00)] IS $750 for a six [(6)] day license and [one
thousand dollars ($1,000)] $1,000 for a seven [(7) ] day
license.

[(d-2)] (H) (1) In Carroll County the annual fee
for [such] a license [shall be fifteen hundred dollars
($1,500.00)] IS $1,500 for a restaurant and [fifteen
hundred dollars ($1,500.00)] $1,500 for a hotel.

(2) [Such a] THIS license may be issued in
Carroll County to a bona fide hotel which (i) is an
establishment for the accommodation of the public
providing service ordinarily found in hotels, (ii) is
