(c) Notwithstanding the provisions of § 86 of this
article, in Prince George's County between the hours of
2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on any day, [no] A person [shall]
MAY NOT consume any alcoholic beverages on any premises
open to the general public, any place of public
entertainment, any premises occupied regularly by a
private club or organization, or any place at which
setups or other component parts of mixed alcoholic drinks
are sold directly or indirectly , EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN
SUBSECTION (B) . Any person found consuming any alcoholic
beverage [on any] WITHIN [such] THESE premises or in any
[such] place during the hours specified [shall be deemed]
IS guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction [thereof
shall be] fined not more than [$50.00] $50 and not less
than [$5.00] $5. The owner, operator, manager, waiter,
server or employee of any [such] OF THESE premises or
[any such place shall] PLACES MAY not knowingly permit
[such] THIS consumption on those premises or in that
place during the hours specified; and any owner,
operator, manager, waiter, server or employee of any
[such] OF THESE premises or [any such place] PLACES who
shall knowingly permit [such] THIS consumption during the
hours specified [shall be deemed] IS guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction [thereof shall be] IS
subject to the penalties provided in § 200 of this
article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 103(b) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B -
Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) to read as
follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

103.

(B)        IN PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, NOTWITHSTANDING ANY

OTHER PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE, IF A CLASS B ON-SALE
LICENSEE HAS LIVE ENTERTAINMENT WITHIN THE LICENSED
PREMISES ON [[THURSDAY,]] FRIDAY, OR SATURDAY NIGHTS, THE
LICENSEE MAY SELL OR SERVE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH HIS LICENSE, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6:00
A.M. AND 3:00 A.M. OF THE FOLLOWING DAY.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.
