AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County — County Commissioners

FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Commissioners
of St. Mary's County to regulate certain items
pertinent to the constructing, and maintaining of
certain public highways, connections, and
appurtenances; requiring the County Commissioners of
St. Mary's county to provide traffic control devices
under certain circumstances; authorizing certain
penalties for certain violations; and generally
relating to roads in St. Mary's County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 10G be and it is hereby added
to Article 25 — County Commissioners, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume and 1975
Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 25 — County Commissioners

10G.

(A)        THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ST. MARY'S COUNTY

MAY REGULATE ANY PUBLIC ROAD, STREET, AVENUE, LANE, ALLEY
OR BRIDGE, SIDEWALK, CURB, GUTTER, AND STORM DRAINAGE
FACILITIES WITHIN ST. MARY'S COUNTY WHICH IS NOT WITHIN
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF ANY INCORPORATED CITY OR TOWN AND
WHICH HAS NOT BEEN DESIGNATED OR MAINTAINED AS A PART OF
THE STATE OR FEDERAL HIGHWAY SYSTEM OR ANY EXTENSION WITH
RESPECT TO:

(1)    THE WEIGHT OF VEHICLES;

(2)    THE PARKING OF VEHICLES;
