Section 434

Article 7 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1965 Edition, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 434 of the Public Local Laws of
Carroll County being Article 7 of the Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1965 Edition, as amended) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 7
434.

Any interested person feeling aggrieved by the
levying of any benefit assessment under this [section]
SUBHEADING shall have the right to appeal to the Circuit
Court for Carroll County within thirty days after the
final adoption of the ordinance by the County
Commissioners, and such court, sitting without a jury, is
authorized to hear and determine whether the county
commissioners acted pursuant to the authority granted
herein and whether the benefit assessments levied
pursuant to the provisions of this subheading are imposed
according to law.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

FOR the purpose of increasing the minimum dollar amount
for certain Frederick County Fire Companies by
increasing the minimum amount which the Frederick
