Queen Anne's County — Alcoholic Beverages

FOR the purpose of establishing certain requirements for
the issuance of certain licenses in Queen Anne's
County; redefining the terms "restaurant" and
"hotel"; requiring certain licenses to maintain
certain records; providing for certain hours for the
sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages;
permitting the sale of alcoholic beverages on
January 1; generally relating to regulations
concerning alcoholic beverages in Queen Anne's
County; and clarifying language.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 10(j), 39, 40(c), 60(h), 85(b)
and (c), and 103A of Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume
and 1975 Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

(j) (1) In Queen Anne's County the annual fee
for [such a] THIS license [shall be fifty dollars
($50.00)] IS $50.

[[(I)]] (2) IN QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY, THIS
LICENSE SHALL BE ISSUED TO ANY LOCAL UNIT OF A NATIONWIDE
BONA FIDE NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION OR CLUB COMPOSED SOLELY
OF MEMBERS WHO SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED
