(2) In Prince George's County the county
commissioners AND IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY THE COUNTY
EXECUTIVE shall use in determining the distribution to
cities and towns the most recent population figures of
the county and the cities and towns [therein] which are
published by the Maryland—National Capital Park and
Planning Commission, provided that the figures published
by the Commission are more recent than the latest federal
decennial census or other countywide census.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That all laws
or parts of laws, public general or public local,
inconsistent with this Act, are repealed to the extent of
the inconsistency.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1976.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

1975 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
