board of license commissioners shall receive annually as
salary not more than $5,000; each other member of the
board shall [received] RECEIVE annually as salaries not
more than $2,000, plus reimbursement for expenses
reasonably incurred by them.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning
Election Laws — Governor and Lieutenant Governor
FOR the purpose of adding a new subtitle to the Election
Code concerning candidates for the offices of
Governor and Lieutenant Governor; providing that a
candidate for Governor shall designate a candidate
for Lieutenant Governor when filing his candidacy
for the office, in accordance with the Constitution;
providing that the names shall be listed jointly on
the ballot, and a vote cast for Governor shall also
be a vote cast for Lieutenant Governor; providing
for joint filing as a unit; providing an option to a
candidate if one member of the Governor—Lieutenant
Governor unit dies, withdraws or is disqualified
prior to the deadline for filing for candidacy in a
primary election; providing an option for a
candidate for Governor if his Lieutenant Governor
candidate dies, withdraws or is disqualified after
the filing deadline, with an exception; providing
for the time and method of the filing of a
certificate of candidacy of a successor candidate
for Lieutenant Governor; providing that if a
candidate for Governor dies, withdraws or is
disqualified after the filing deadline, his
candidate for Lieutenant Governor shall have the
option of either designating himself as the new
candidate for Governor and designating a new
Lieutenant Governor or designating a new Governor;
providing for the filling of a vacancy in the
Governor — Lieutenant Governor unit if that unit is
the only one to have filed for the nomination of its
party in the primary election; providing for the
filling of a vacancy in the Governor - Lieutenant
Governor unit of a party occurring before the
general election; providing a procedure if one
