AN ACT concerning

Harford County — Real [[and Personal]] Property
[[Exemptions]] Credit

FOR the purpose of granting a tax credit in Harford

County for the Children's Fresh Air Society of Maryland,
Inc.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section [[9(e)]] 9C(j-3) be and it is
hereby added to [[of]] Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Replacement Volume
and 1975 Supplement) [[be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments,]] to read as follows:

(e) Property owned by (1) any incorporated or
unincorporated nonprofit hospitals, and asylums (but not
exceeding 100 acres of land appurtenant to any hospital
or asylum): or by (2) any nonprofit charitable, fraternal
or sororal, benevolent, educational, or literary
institutions or organizations, including public libraries
subject to the provisions of Chapter 16 of Article 77 of
this Code and nonpolitical, nonstock men's or women's
clubs (but not exceeding [100] 400 acres of land outside
any city appurtenant to any institution or organization);
