SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 25A be and it is hereby added
to Article 78 — Public Service Commission Law, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Replacement Volume and
1975 Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 78 — Public Service Commission Law

25A.

A PARTY OR ANY PERSON ACTING ON BEHALF OF A PARTY
WHOSE CASE IS BEFORE THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION MAY
NOT, WITHOUT NOTICE TO THE OTHER PARTY, CONTACT EX PARTE
ANY COMMISSIONER OR EXAMINER REGARDING THE MERITS OF THAT
CASE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

Natural Resources — Maryland Environmental Service

FOR the purpose of requiring the Maryland Environmental

any municipality affected by a proposed five—year

before the plan may be adopted; and clarifying
language.
