SHALL DETERMINE WHO ARE THE CANDIDATES NOMINATED FOR
ELECTION TO THE SCHOOL BOARD AND SHALL CERTIFY THEIR
NAMES TO THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
ELECTIONS. IF A NOMINATED CANDIDATE CEASES FOR ANY
REASON TO BE A CANDIDATE, THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
ELECTIONS SHALL PLACE ON THE BALLOT FOR THE GENERAL
ELECTION ONLY THE NAMES OF THE REMAINING CANDIDATES.

(4) ANY PERSON SUBJECT TO THE AUTHORITY OF
THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY MAY NOT BE
CERTIFIED AS A CANDIDATE.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect January 1, 1977.

Internal Revenue Code — Correcting Citations

FOR the purpose of correcting certain citations to
provisions of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954; and
clarifying related language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Sections 5-401, 5-402, 5-403, 8-103(b), and 8-501(b)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 5-401, 5-402, 5-403, 8-103(b),
and 8—501(b) of Article — Corporations and Associations,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Volume and 1975
Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

5-401.

In this subtitle, "private foundation" means a
Maryland corporation which is a private foundation as
defined in § 509 (a) of the [federal] Internal Revenue
Code OF 1954.
