Annotated Code of Maryland

(1975 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 2 of Article 78B - Racing
Commission, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1975
Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 78B — Racing Commission

Said Maryland Racing Commission shall consist of
five members, all of whom shall be appointed by the
Governor, with the advice AND CONSENT of the [Secretary
of Licensing and Regulation] SENATE, and not more than
four of whom shall be of the same political party, and
one of whom shall be designated by the Governor, with the
advice AND CONSENT of the [Secretary of Licensing and
Regulation] SENATE, to be the chairman, of the said
