AN ACT concerning

General Construction Loan of 1975-
Calvert County Maritime Museum

FOR the purpose of redesignating the purpose for which a
certain amount of a grant which was authorized to be
made by the General Construction Loan of 1975 to the
Calvert County Maritime Museum may be used; and
making the grant contingent upon the museum granting
and conveying a preservation easement on a
particular structure to the Maryland Historical
Trust.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 5 2. J 1(g) of Chapter 886 -
General Construction Loan of 1975, of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1975 be and it is hereby
repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

2. J 1 (g) Grant to the Calvert County Maritime
Museum: [For pier and bulkhead] FOR RESTORATION AND
PREPARATION FOR EXHIBIT OF THE DRUM POINT
LIGHTHOUSE, SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENT THAT THE
MUSEUM GRANT AND CONVEY A PRESERVATION EASEMENT ON
SAID LIGHTHOUSE STRUCTURE TO THE MARYLAND HISTORICAL

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1976.
