SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act

AN ACT concerning

Hospital Construction Loans — Security

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of Public Works
under certain conditions to subordinate the lien of
the State securing certain loans made by the State
to certain hospitals and to accept a substitution of
collateral on such loans in order to facilitate
financing for any project by the Maryland Health and
Higher Educational Facilities Authority.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 568F(a) of Article 43 - Health, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume
and 1975 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(a) Loans made to any voluntary nonprofit
hospitals under the provisions of this subheading and
with the use of funds made available by the State of
Maryland shall be made on the express agreement, contract
and understanding that the loans, together with interest
