signature which shall be witnessed by persons designated
by the Prince George's County superintendent of schools
under appropriate rules and regulations.
128A.
(b) For the school year 1977-78 and thereafter,
each county board of education shall receive from the
State, in the manner and subject to the limitations
expressed in this section, an amount to be known as the
"State share of basic current expenses," which, for each
county, shall be calculated as follows:
(3) State Share. The State share of basic
current expenses for each county shall be the difference
between the county share calculated pursuant to
subsection (b) (2) hereof and the basic current expense
to be shared, as defined in subsection (b) (1) hereof.
Of its share of the State [basis] BASIC current expense,
Baltimore County shall pay to Lida Lee Tall School of
Towson State College the percentage of the State basic
current expense obtained by dividing the number of pupils
in Lida Lee Tall School by the total number of pupils
enrolled in Baltimore County and the Lida Lee Tall
School.
(c) For the school years 1973—74 to and including
1976—77, the State share of basic current expenses shall
be calculated and paid as follows:
(6) For the school year 1976-77, the State
share of basic current expenses for each county shall be
the amount calculated pursuant to subsection (c) (1)
hereof per pupil times the number of pupils enrolled for
the school year 1976—77, as defined in subsection (a)
[ (2) ] (3) hereof plus 80% of the difference between that
amount and the amount calculated pursuant to subsection
(c) (2) hereof. Of its share of the State basic current
expense, Baltimore County shall pay to Lida Lee Tall
School of Towson State College the percentage of the
State basic current expense obtained by dividing the
number of pupils in Lida Lee Tall School by the total
number of pupils enrolled in Baltimore County and the
Lida Lee Tall School.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.
