(I) IN WICOMICO COUNTY THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT
COURT SHALL DEPOSIT ALL APPEARANCE FEES COLLECTED UNDER
SUBSECTION (A) INTO A SPECIAL ACCOUNT KNOWN AS "BAR
LIBRARY ACCOUNT". THE ACCOUNT SHALL BE USED FOR
PURCHASING AND MAINTAINING LEGAL PUBLICATIONS RECOMMENDED
BY THE WICOMICO COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION AND APPROVED BY
THE RESIDENT JUDGE FOR WICOMICO COUNTY. THE ACCOUNT
SHALL ALSO BE USED TO PAY THE SALARY OF A LIBRARIAN IF A
LIBRARIAN IS CONSIDERED NECESSARY BY THE WICOMICO COUNTY
BAR ASSOCIATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

Section 12G-5(d), 48(a), 76(a) and (c), and 149

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1975 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 12G-5(d), 48(a), 76(a) and (c),
and 149 of Article 81 — Revenue and Taxes, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Replacement Volume and
1975 Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

12G-5.

(d) The tax credit for which provision is made in
this section shall be applicable to taxation in Cecil
County only. This section may not be construed or may
NOT be applied to change the normal and regular
assessment procedures which are applicable in Cecil
