(C) THE DEPARTMENT OF ASSESSMENTS AND TAXATION

SHALL COLLECT SUCH TRANSFER TAXES AS MAY BE APPLICABLE AT

THE RATES__CERTIFIED__AS REQUIRED HEREIN AND SHALL REMIT

PROMPTLY ALL TAXES COLLECTED, TOGETHER WITH COPIES OF
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS, TO THE COMPTROLLER OF THE TREASURY.

AFTER DEDUCTING THE COST TO THE DEPARTMENT FOR

ADMINISTERING THIS SECTION, THE COMPTROLLER SHALL

DISTRIBUTE THE NET PROCEEDS TO THE COUNTIES AND BALTIMORE
CITY ACCORDING TO THE SITUS OF THE PROPERTIES SOLD OR
TRANSFERRED.

(D) THE TAXES IMPOSED BY THIS SECTION SHALL BE IN

ADDITION TO THE TAXES REQUIRED BY §277 AND 278A OF THIS

ARTICLE, AND THE PAYMENT OF THESE TAXES SHALL BE A

PREREQUISITE FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE OF ANY PROPERTY

WITH RESPECT TO WHICH A CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED TO BE

SUBMITTED__PURSUANT TO § 3-112 OF THE CORPORATIONS AND

ASSOCIATIONS ARTICLE.

(E) THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION DO NOT APPLY TO
BALTIMORE COUNTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Washington [[County]] and Frederick Counties —
Outdoor Music Festivals

FOR the purpose of applying, with certain modifications,
the outdoor music festival law to Washington
[[County]] and Frederick Counties.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 56 — Licenses

Section 159(c), 159A(b)(1), 159B(a) and 159E(a)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1972 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 159(c), 159A(b)(1), 159B(a) and
159E(a) of Article 56 — Licenses, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)
be and they are hereby repealed and reenacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
