Comand was given to ye Sherf. of Kent County ye 30. day of March Anno Domi. 1699 that he Attach
any of ye goods Chattles rights Debts or Creditts of Thomas Collins late of Said County Decd. if they Should b[e]
found in his bailiwick to ye value of Two thousand three hundred fifty & nine pounds of Tobo. to Satisfie unto
Sarah Toaes a Certaine Debt & Cost recovered against ye Said Thomas his Estate and that by good & lawfull
men of his bailiwick he make knowne &a. Soe that he She or they be & personally Appeare at ye next Court to
Shew cause &a
Att which Court Vizt. ye 27th. Day of Sepr. Anno Domi. 1699 ye day of ye returne of Said writt came Elias
King high Sherf. of Said County & made returne thereof in these words Vizt. I have Attached in ye hands of Barbar[a]
Collins Exx. of Thomas Collins ye within menconed Sume of Two thousand three hundred fifty nine pounds of Tobo.
and Sumoned ye Said Barbara Collins before Wm Hollinsworth & James Devergee two Lawfull men &a
that She be & appeare &a. as by ye within prcept I am comanded    Elias King Sherf
The which cause being continued from Court untill this present Court Came ye Said Sarah Toaes Plaint
by Richard Macklin her Attry but ye Said Defendant Barbara Collins neither by her Selfe nor Attorney
appearing Judgemt. is awarded that ye Said Sume of Tobo. Should be Condemned for Satisfaction Afsd
Therefore it is Considered by ye Court here this Day Vizt. ye 28. day of Novemr. Anno Domi. 1700 that ye
Said Sarah Toaes have Execution ast. ye Said Barbara Collins Exx &a. of ye Said Thomas Collins as well
for ye Sume of Two thousand three hundred fifty & nine pounds of Tobo. Debt as alsoe ye Sume of Two hundred
Twenty & one pounds of Tobo. Cost of Suite                                Jno Dowdall Clk

Comand was given to ye Corroner of Kent County ye 25. day of Janry Anno Domi. 1699 that by good and
Lawfull men of his bailiwick he make knowne unto Elias King Exr. of Edwd. Sweatnam who was ye Exr. of
Richard Sweatnam late of Talbott County Inholder Decd. if he Should be found in his bailiwick Soe that he
be & personally Appeare before his majties Justices at ye next Court to Shew Cause if any he have why
Execution Should not Issue ast. him for ye Sume of Seven hundred & Tenn pounds of Tobo. A Certaine
Nonsuite recovered against ye Said Richard Sweatnam in his lifetime by Capt. John Hawkins at a
Court held for Talbott County ye nineteenth Day of June Anno Domi. 1694
Att which next Court Vizt ye 26. Day of March Anno Domi. 1700 the day of ye returne of Said writt
Came Thomas Smith one of ye Corroners of Said County & made returne of Said writt in these words
Vizt. made knowne before Mr. Stephen Boardley and John Dowdall two good & Lawfull men of
my Bailiwick &a                                                                             Thomas Smith Corroner

On which Said Day ye Said Defendant by Richard Macklin his Attry & prayes thereof to Imp le
untill ye next Court which was given unto him & Same day is given ye Plaint. likewise

The which Cause was Continued from Court to Court untill this prSent Court And now here at
this day Vizt. ye 28. day of Novemr. Anno Domi. 1700 Came as well ye Said Plaint. by Michael
Earle his Attorney as alsoe ye Said Defendant by Richard Macklin his Attorney
Richard Sweatnams Exr.    Oyer of ye plaint Attorneys power and ye Record on which ye plaints
ads    writt of Scire facias is grounded
John Hawkins

   But ye Said Plaint. produceing noe record of this County whereon ye Said
Scire facias was grounded Judgemt. is awarded to ye Said Defendt. in his Said Capacty for a Non Suite
Therefore it is Considered by ye Court here this Day Vizt. ye 28 Day [of Novemr.] Annoq Domi 1700
that ye Said Defendant Elias King Exr. of Edwd. Sweatnam who wa[s Exr. of] Richard Sweatnam
late of Talbott County Decd. in his Said Capacity doe recover from ye Said [Plaint J]ohn Hawkins as well
ye Sume of fifty pounds of Tobo. for a Nonsuite as alsoe ye Sume of one hundred & Seventy pounds of
Tobo. Cost of Suit According to Act of Assembly in that Case Made & provided & ye Sd. Jno in mercy
