(377 Five Shillings Current Money to him in hand paid by the said James M.cCullough the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath Assigned Transferred made over and Confirmed and by these presents Doth assign transfer make over and confirm unto the said James M.cCullough A Certain Debt due to the said William Sewell from certain William and Robert Molleson of London Merchants amounting to the principal Sum of Nine hundred and eighty Pounds twelve Shillings Sterling Money exclusive of Interest (for Recovery whereof Suits have been Instituted against the said William and Robert Molleson by the said William Sewell) together with all his the said William Sewell's Right title and Interest thereto To Have and To Hold the said Debt together with all his the said William Sewells right and Title thereto unto the said James M.cCullough his Executors Administrators and Assigns In Trust for the use Intent and purpose following to wit That he the said James M.cCullough on receipt of the said Debt or any part thereof shall have full power and authority to appropriate and apply the same to the sole order and use of Anna Maria Sewell wife of the said William Sewell without any let Impediment or demand from the said William Sewell at any time hereafter And the said William Sewell doth hereby authorize and empower the said James M.cCullough to sue for Collect ask demand and receive the said Sums of Money or part thereof from any person or persons whatever and receipts and discharges to give for the same on receiving the said Sum of Money or any part thereof from any person or persons whatsoever And the said William Sewell for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators Doth also further Covenant and agree with the said James M.cCullough his Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said William Sewell his Executors Administrators or Assigns shall not at any time hereafter receive the said Sum of Money or any part thereof from any person or persons whatsoever but that he the said James M.cCullough shall receive and collect the same and that he the said William Sewell will not revoke the power and authorities herein and hereby vested in the said James M.cCullough In Witness whereof the said Parties have hereto set their Hands and Seals the day and year aforesaid Signed Sealed & Delivered in presence of W Sewell (Seal) W.m Russell James M.cCullough (Seal) Michsos M.cGrah At the foot of and annexed to the foregoing Deed It was thus Written viz.t Received the day and year within mentioned of and from James M.cCullough the Sum of five Shillings Current Money the Consideration within mentioned Witness W.m Sewell W.m Russell County of Baltimore to wit On the 20.th day of April 1785 came before us the Subscribers two Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid William Sewell and James M.cCullough who severally acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing as their Act and Deed according to the true intent thereof W.m Russell Acknowledged before John Moale |
