372) His Heirs and Assigns that he the said Edward Dorsey Son of John and his Heirs the said Tract or Parcel of Land and Premisses with all and singular the Appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said Edward Dorsey Son of Edward of John and his Heirs against him the said Edward Dorsey Son of John and his Heirs and against all persons claiming by from or under them shall and will for ever Warrant and defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said Edward Dorsey son of John hath hereto set his Hand and Seal the day and year first above mentioned Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of Ed.w Dorsey Son of John (Seal) Daniel Deady James Neale On the back of the foregoing Deed It was thus Written viz.t Received the day of the date of the within written Indenture from the within Named Edward Dorsey Son of Edward of John the Sum of forty £ cur.y three pounds two Shillings and six pence Current Money of Pensilvania 43 2 6 being the Consideration above within mentioned to be paid by him to me Witness Received by me Ed.w Dorsey Son of John Daniel Deady Baltimore County to wit Be it Remembered that on the thirtyeth day of Aprill in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty five came the within mentioned Edward Dorsey Son of John Before us two of the Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County and Acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Estate and right of the within named Edward Dorsey Son of Edward of John and his Heirs according to the intent and Effect of the same Deed Taken and Certified according to act of Assembly the day and year above mentioned by us Abm V.n Bibber Lyde Goodwin Baltimore County to wit I hereby Certify that Abraham V.n Bibber and Lyde Goodwin Gentlemen before whom the above acknowledgment were made and who have thereto Subscribed their Names were at the day of the date thereof and still are two Justices of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid and all Certificates by them given as such due faith and credit is and ought to be given as well in Courts of Justice as thereout In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my Hand and Seal of my office this Eighteenth day of May Seventeen hundred and Eighty five 8 sides William Gibson Cl Balto Coty (Seal) Recorded this 20.th day of May 1785 |
