336 As the Compass then Pointed South Fifty five Degrees West Thirty five Chains then South twenty eight Degrees East fifty five Chains then South twelve degrees West one hundred Chains thence West eighty four Chains then North two hundred and forty three Chains to a Tract of Land granted to Mathew Holland and Six others then North sixty seven degrees West two hundred and four Chains then North thirty Eight degrees East one hundred and one Chains to a Tract of Land granted to Thomas Millott and three other Non Commissioned officers thence North Nin^e^ty Six chains then East twenty six chains to the said Martin Van Bergens Land thence along the last mentioned Tract as the Compass then Pointed South Seventy one Degrees East forty five chains then South fifty three Degrees East thirty five chains then South twenty four Degrees West Eighty Chains then South forty four Degrees East forty four chains then South eighty seven Degrees East thirty chains then North twelve Chains to the White oak Tree where this Tract first began Containing Five thousand and seventy one acres of Land And also of and in all that certain other Tract or Parcel of Land situate lying and being in the County of Albany aforesaid on the West side of Hudsons River Beginning at a White oak Tree standing on the North side of the Katts Kill marked for the out bounds of a Patent granted to the said Martin Van Bergen and William Salisbury and runs thence along the lines marked by the aforesaid Commissioners South fifty two Degrees West forty four chains and twenty links South Forty three degrees and Thirty Minutes West forty seven chains South thirty six degrees West thirty Three chains to a Tract of Five hundred and seventy acres granted to Martin Van Bergen in the year 1741 and runs thence along the Bounds thereof North eighteen Degrees ^west^ fourteen Chains North Thirteen degrees east Eleven chains South seventy seven degrees East five Chains North five degrees East Thirty chains and North three degrees West twenty Chains to a Tract of Land Granted to Henry Lane and Hendrick Remson thence along that Tract North Eighty Degrees East to the north side of the Katts Kill thence along the said Kill to the place of beginning containing Three hundred and twenty acres Together with their Appurtenances To hold to him the said Clement Biddle his Heirs and assigns forever As in and by the said Recited Indenture at large appears And Whereas Isaac Martin and Samuel Masker |
