17 One half penny Sterling for the said lott from the Twenty ninth day of September and ensuing the date hereof to be paid to Jacob Funck his heirs and assigns forever And the said Jacob Funck doth hereby for himself and his heirs Covenant and grant to and with the said Daniel Ragin his heirs and assigns in manner as followeth to wit that he the said Daniel Ragin yielding and paying the yearly quit rent as aforesaid shall and may for himself his heirs and assigns have hold possess and enjoy the said Lott of ground above described with all appurtenances thereunto belonging without the least interruption or Molestation of the said Jacob Funck his Heirs and assigns forever And further that he the said Jacob Funck for himself and his heirs the said Lott of ground above described with all its appurtenances unto the said Daniel Ragin his heirs and assigns against himself and his heirs and against all and every other Person or Persons claiming said premisses by from or under him them or any of them shall and will warrant and forever Defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said Jacob Funck hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above Written Sealed and Delivered in the presence of Jacob Funck (S) Thomas Johns Aquila Johns At the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit Received on the day of the above date from the above named Daniel Ragin the sum of Five pounds current money of Maryland in full for the consideration money above said Witnesses present at signing Jacob Funck Thomas Johns Aquila Johns Prince George's County fs This fifteenth day of March Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and eighty three personally appeared before us two of the Justices of the peace for the said County Jacob Funck party to the above deed and executed the same in due form of the Law & acknowledged the premisses therein mentioned to be the right title & interest of the therein named Daniel Ragin his heirs and assigns forever Jos.a Beall Recorded 17 March 1783 W.m Berry Ex.d This Indenture made the fifteenth day of March Anno Domini One thousand Seven hundred and eighty three Between Jacob Funck of Washington county in the State of Maryland of the one part and Joshua Ragin of Frederick County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Jacob Funck for and in Consideration of the sum of five pounds Current money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the said Joshua Ragin the Receipt whereof he the said Jacob Funck doth hereby acknowledge Hath Granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and Confirm unto the said Joshua Ragin his heirs and assigns forever all that Lott or portion of ground situate in the Town of Hamburgh and Prince Georges County known in the general plan of said Town by Number Eighteen thirty feet front on Water street and Two hundred feet line into the river doth appear by said plan which said plan is recorded in Prince George's County records reference being thereunto had may more full appear Together with all profits Advantages and appurtenances to the said Lott of ground belonging or thereunto appurtaining and the remainders and reversions thereof and all the right title claim and Interest of him the said Jacob Funck To have and to hold the said Lott of ground with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Joshua Ragin his heirs and Assigns to the only proper use and Behoof of (the) |
