74 or of such part or parcell thereof in the Name of such part or parcell or in the Name of the whole unto the said Joseph Ensor or to his certain Attorney or Attornies in that behalf to give and Deliver To hold to him the said Joseph Ensor his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the Purport true Intent and meaning of these Presents ratifying confirming and allowing all and whatsoever our said Attorney shall do in the Premisses In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto set their Hands and Seals the day and Year first above Written Signed Sealed & Delivered Joseph Caldwell William Anderson (Seal) in the Presence of us George Lewis Margret Anderson (seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Received the day and Year first within Written of and from the within named Joseph Ensor the Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him paid to us Witness Joseph Caldwell Received by William Anderson George Lewis Margret Anderson On the Thirtieth day of July 1770 Personally came and Appeared before me Cæsar Rodney Esq.r one of his Majestys Justices of the Supreme Court of the Three Lower Countys on Delaware called New Castle Kent and Sussex the within named William Anderson and Acknowledged the within Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right Title and Estate of the within Named Joseph Ensor his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the True Intent & meaning of the same Deed and the Acts of Assembly in the Province of Maryland in such Cases made and Provided And at the same time Came the within Named Margret Anderson wife of the said William Anderson & being privately Examined apart out of the Hearing of her said Husband and did acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be her Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right Title and Estate of the within Named Joseph Ensor his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed and she Declared that she Executed the said Deed and made such Acknowledgement Voluntarily and freely without being induced thereto by fear or by Threats from her said Husband or for fear of his Displeasure Cæsar Rodney Memorandom that on the Seventeenth day of September in the Year one Thousand seven Hundred and seventy full and Peaceable Possession and seisin was had and taken of the following Messuages or Tenements within granted and Included within the Bounds of Bohemia (Manor) |
