522 half Part of the Grist Mill and every other Improvement thereon Also all my Right and Title to a Lease Granted to mary Jacob Out of his Lordships High Court of Chancery (after Condemnation by adquod Damnum) for Nineteen Acres of Land part of Monks Discovery and one Acre of Land Part of Millers Choice Reference being had to said Lease will more fully and at large appear To the said William Jacob his Heirs and Assigns for ever To have and to hold the above mentioned Lands and Tenements with their and every of their appurtenances to him the said William Jacob his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns to his and their own proper use and behoof and to and for no other use intent or Purpose Whatsoever and the said James Barnes for himself and his Heirs do hereby Covenant Promise Grant and agree to and with the said William Jacob his Heirs and Assigns that he the said James Barnes and his Heirs will for ever hereafter warrent and Defend the above mentioned Lands and Premisses to him the said William Jacob his Heirs and Assigns from and against him the said James Barnes and his Heirs and from and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever Claiming any Right Title or Interest for the same by from or under him them or any of them In Witness whereof the party first above named hath hereunto interchangeably set his hand and affixed his Seal the day and year first above written Signed sealed & Delivered In Presence of James Barnes (seal) Rob.t Key John Timns On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Received this 28.th Day of May 1773 Of M.r William Jacob the sum of Five hundred pounds Current Money it being the Consideration Money within mentioned I say rec.d p.r me Witness James Barnes Rob.t Key John Tims On the 28.th day of May 1773 Came before us the subscribers two of the proprietarys Justices of the Peace for Ann.l County Court James Barnes party to the within Deed and acknowledged the within mentioned Lands and premisses to be the Right and Estate of the within mentioned William Jacob His heirs and Assigns for ever according to the purport True Intent and Meaning of the within Deed Acknowledged before R Ghiselin W.m Steuart June the 3.d 1773 Received of M.r William Jacob the sum of Five Shillings Sterling for an Alienation fine on the within Land for the use of the Lord propry by Virtue of a Commission from Dan.l of Saint Tho.s Jenifer his said Lordships Agent and receiver General J Brice 6½ Sides Recorded the 3.d June 1773 |
