510 X.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made this twelveth day of April In the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and seventy three between Samuel Owings Jun.r Son of Samuel of Baltimore County in the province aforesaid Farmer of the one part and Joshua Jones of the same County and Province aforesaid Farmer of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Owings Jun.r for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and twenty Pounds Pensylvania Currency to him by the said Joshua Jones in hand paid the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth fully acquitt and discharge the said Joshua Jones his Heirs and Assigns Hath granted bargained and Sold Aliend releas'd & Confirm'd and by these presents Doth grant bargain sell alien release and Confirm unto the said Joshua Jones all that part of a tract of Land called Ohio situate Lying and being in Frederick County in the Province aforesaid which is describ'd by and contain'd within the following metes Bounds Courses and distances to Wit Beginning for the same at the end of sixty two perches on the fourth Line of a Tract of Land call'd Chesnut Ridge and running thence North thirty degrees East one hundred and fifty two perches North forty degrees west forty eight perches North sixty three degrees west twenty perches west twenty four perches North ten degrees East seventy perches North forty four degrees West sixty six perches North thirty degrees west forty nine perches South forty three Degrees west one hundred and six perches South thirty degrees East one hundred & sixty eight perches South fifty degrees west Eighty perches South seventy Eight degrees East twenty two perches and thence by a straight Line to the place of Beginning containing and laid out for two hundred Acres of Land be the same more or less Together with Houses Buildings Orchards Fences Pastures Ways Waters Water Courses Improvements Priviledges Emoluments and Advantages to the said Land belonging or in any wise appurtaining and the Reversion and Reversions remainder and remainders Rents and services thereof And also all the Estate Right Title Interest Benefit Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Samuel Owings of in and to the said Tract or parcel of Land above granted and of in and to every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances To Have and To Hold the said above granted Land and premisses with their and every of their appurtenances unto the said Joshua Jones his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoofe of the said Joshua Jones his heirs and Assigns for ever and to and for no other use Intent or purpose and the said Samuel Owings for himself and his Heirs doth hereby Covenant and Grant to and with the said Joshua Jones his Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said Samuel Owings and his Heirs the above granted Land and premisses with their appurtenances unto the said Joshua Jones his heirs and Assigns shall and will warrant and for ever defend against all and every person or persons claiming any thing therein either by from him the said Samuel Owings his heirs or by his or their means or procurement And Further that he the said Samuel Owings and his heirs shall and will from time to time and at any time hereafter on the reasonable request and at the proper Cost and Charge of he said Joshua Jones his Heirs and Assigns make do and execute or cause to be made and Executed such further and other Instrument or Instruments of Writing for the more perfect granting and |
