       Henry Harford Esquire Absolute Lord and proprietary
       of the Province of Maryland in America a minor and The Reverend
       Doctor John Moore Dean of Canterbury and Hugh Hamersley and
       Peter Prevost of Lincolns Inn in the County of Middlesex in the Kingdom of
       Great Britain Esquires Guardians appointed by the high Court of Chancery
       of Great Britain of the Estate and person  Of the said Henry Harford for
       and on behalf of the said Henry Harford

                      To Robert Eden of the said province of Maryland Esquire
       And to all others to whom these Presents shall come and any way concern  Greeting
       Whereas the Right Honourable Frederick late Lord Baltimore deceased and Whilst living
       the Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the said province of Maryland did by his Commission under
       his hand and Greater Seal at Arms bearing Test at Baltimore House Westminster the first day
       of August in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty Eight Nominate
       Constitute and appoint the said Robert Eden Lieutenant General and Chief Governor of the said
       Province of Maryland in America ^and also^ Commander in Chief both by Sea and land of all the Forces
       raised or to be raised within the Limits of the said Province or the Islands Terretories and
       Dominions thereunto belonging and over all such Forces to appoint proper Officers and
       them to remove and displace at his will and pleasure and with such farther and other
       powers and Authorities as in the said Commission are particularly Mentioned and so forth
       as by the said Commission Relation thereunto being had may appear  And Whereas the
       said Frederick late Lord Baltimore Departed this Life on or about the fourth day of
       September One thousand seven hundred and seventy one having duely made and published
       his Last Will and Testament attested as the Law requires whereby in pursuance of the powers
       and authorities therein referred to  He gave devided & Limitted the said province and the
       premisses thereto belonging (Subject to Certain pecuniary charges in the said Will mentioned)
       unto the use of the said Henry Harford and the Heirs male of his Body lawfully
       begotten with Remainders over and Whereas the Commission so Executed by the said
       Frederick late Lord Baltimore appointing you the said Robert Eden Lieutenant General
       and Chief Governor of the said province as aforesaid is determined by his Lordships Death
       and Whereas the said Henry Harford being an Infant under the Age of Twenty one
       years but of the age of Fourteen years and upwards the said Doctor John Moore Hugh
       Hamersly and Peter Prevost have been appointed by the High Court of Chancery of Great
       Britain Guardians of his person and Estate  Now Know all men by these presents
       That We the said John Moore Hugh Hamersly and Peter Prevost in pursuance of the
       Powers and Authorities reposed and vested in us as Guardians appointed by the said Court of
       Chancery of the Person and Estate of the said Henry Harford and of all other powers
       and Authorities Enabling us in that Behalf and with the privity Consent and
