       I Samuel Howard as Clerk to the Prerogative Office do Swear that I will
       not for Lucre or Malice Delay any person or persons applying to me for any
       Business belonging to the Office I officiate in that I will not Directly or Indirectly
       ask demand take or receive from or Charge to any such person or persons
       to my own use except my Salary from my principal any fee or Reward
       whatsoever for any service I shall do as Clerk of the said Office and Also that
       in making out the office fees I will not wittingly or willingly Charge other
       or higher fees than limited by the Act entitled an Act for Amending the Staple
       of Tobacco for preventing frauds in his Majestys Customs and for the Limitation
       of Officers fees                                 sworn before   RGhiselin 10.th Nov.r 1766
