       thing or Things in the Law for the better and more fully securing the
       aforesaid one hundred & ninety four Acres of Land unto him the said Philip
       Jackson his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning
       of the above Deed  In Witness thereof I have hereunto Set my Hand &
       Affixed my Seal the Day and Year above written
       Signd Seald acknowledged
       and Deliverd before us                        Ruth Jackson         (seal)

          On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit

                                           Then received of Philip Jackson Five Shillings Current
       Money it being the full consideration of the within mentioned Land &

       Memorand.m  That on the first day of September one thousand
       seven hundred & sixty one came Ruth Jackson Partie to the within Deed
       and acknowledge it to be her Act & Deed & the Land & Premisses therein
       mentioned to be the Right Title & Estate of him the within named
       Philip Jackson his Heirs & Assigns forever according to the true
       intent & meaning of the within Deed & an Act of Assembly in such
       Cases made & Provided

       being the Alienation fine for the within Land for the Use of the
