(360) thing or Things in the Law for the better and more fully securing the aforesaid one hundred & ninety four Acres of Land unto him the said Philip Jackson his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the above Deed In Witness thereof I have hereunto Set my Hand & Affixed my Seal the Day and Year above written Signd Seald acknowledged and Deliverd before us Ruth Jackson (seal) Cha.s Jones David Lynn On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit September the 1.st 1761 Then received of Philip Jackson Five Shillings Current Money it being the full consideration of the within mentioned Land & Premisses Witness my Hand Test Cha.s Jones Ruth Jackson David Lynn Memorand.m That on the first day of September one thousand seven hundred & sixty one came Ruth Jackson Partie to the within Deed and acknowledge it to be her Act & Deed & the Land & Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right Title & Estate of him the within named Philip Jackson his Heirs & Assigns forever according to the true intent & meaning of the within Deed & an Act of Assembly in such Cases made & Provided Before us Cha.s Jones David Lynn Recd the Sum of Seven Shillings and Nine Pence half penny being the Alienation fine for the within Land for the Use of the Lord Baltimore Edw.d Lloyd 25 Sept.r 1761 Recorded 25.th Sept.r 1761 7 s.ds |
