(21) his Jos Howard (seal) Jos Hill Bailey +++ (seal) Benj.a Beall (Seal) Corn Garretson (seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written to wit Received September 6th 1759 the Sum of Five Shillings sterling within mentioned of the within Mentioned Joseph Howard and Joseph Hill Bailey Witness Jn.o Brice P Benj.a Beall William Lynch Received the day and year above mentioned of and from the within named Joseph Howard the Sum of Twenty Pounds Current Money being the consideration within mentioned his Witness Jn.o Brice Jos Hill +++ Bailey William Lynch mark Sep 6th 1759 Came the within named Joseph Howard and Joseph Hill Bailey before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland and acknowledged the within Deed to be their Act and Deed according to the Act of Assembly in such cases made and Provided 11 sides Jn.o Brice Recorded Sept.r 17.th 1759 10 March 1761 Rec'd the sum of four shillings being the Alienation Fine for the Land within mentioned for the Use of the Lord Baltimore Edw.d Lloyd x.d This Indenture made on the Nineteenth day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred fifty and nine between Henry Rozer in the Province of Maryland and of Prince Georges County and Elenor his Wife of the one Part and Edward Neale of Queen Ann's County of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Henry Rozer and Elenor his Wife for and in consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Sterling to him in hand paid by the said Edward Neale the receipt whereof they hereby acknowledge Have given Granted bargained Sold Assigned and set over and by these Presents do give grant bargain sell assign and set over unto him the said Edward Neale his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or Parcel of Land called Aquonsick and also all that other (Tract) |
