       On the 17th Day of October 1760 Came before me the Subscriber one of his
       Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Charles Homewood
       party to the within Deed and did acknowledge the same to be his Act and Deed
       and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate
       of the within named Henry Woodward and his Heirs according to the true
       intent and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such case
       made and Provided   And on the Same Day and year came also before me
       Elizabeth the Wife of the said Charles Homewood and being by me privately
       examined apart from and out of the Hearing of her said Husband did declare
       that she did by this her Acknowledgment release all her Right and Title of
       Dower of in and unto the Lands and Premisses within mentioned and
       she did further declare that that she made this her acknowledgment
       voluntarily and freely without being induced thereto by fears or Threats
       of or ill usage from her said Husband or through fear of his Displeasure
sides   Recorded 27th Octo.r 1760                           Geo Steuart

xd  This Indenture made this fourth day of October in the year
LS of our Lord God Seventeen hundred and Sixty Between Charles
       Homewood of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the one Part and Henry
       Woodward of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the other Part Witnesseth
       that for and in consideration of the Sum of Two thousand and forty four
       pounds and eight Pence Sterling Money by him the said Henry Woodward
       to the said Charles Homewood in Hand actually advanced and paid at or
       before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he
       the said Charles Homewood doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom
       ^& of and from^ every part and Parcel thereof doth hereby release Acquit Exonerate and
       Discharge him the said Henry Woodward his Heirs Executors Administrators
       and Assigns and every of them by these Presents he the said Charles
                                                                                              (Homewood)
