414) Might or Ought to Do To hold the said office with the rewards & profitts thereto belonging During pleasure Given at Our City of Annapolis the Twenty third Day of December in the Seventh Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord King George & in the 5.th of our Dominion &.c Annoq Dm 1722 Wittness Our Trusty and Well beloved Charles Calvert Esq.r Capt.n Generall and Governour in Cheif in and over this our province of Maryland loco Will.m Holland Keeper Magni sigilli Recorded Novem.r 26.th 1722 Maryland fs Ex.d This Indenture made This 20.th Day of September in the Year of Our Lord God Seventeen hundred Twenty and Two Between Henry Ridgley of Ann Arundell County Gent of the One Part and Thomas Worthington of the Same County Merchant of the other part Wittnesseth That the said Henry Ridgely for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty Two pounds Ten Shillings Sterl Money to him the said Henry in hand paid by the said Thomas Worthington the Receipt of w.ch he the said Henry Does hereby acknowledge and thereof & therefrom and of and from every part and parcell thereof Doth freely fully and absolutely Exonerate Acquitt and for ever Discharge the said Thomas Worthington his Heirs Executors and Adm.rs and every of them by these presents Hath given granted bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed Remist Released and Confirmed And by these presents Doth give grant bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe Remiss Release and Confirm unto him the said Thomas Worthington his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or parcell of Land called Ridgelys Necks Lying on the Middle River of Petuxon |
