       what have been so taken away of the said fees by the said Secretary
       and Chancellor And least any Question or Doubt may hereafter appear
       whether my Letter to my said agent was a sufficient Power for makeing
       the said addition to the price of warrants as af.d and for the takeing and
       Receiveing to my said Agents use and your Own the said Addition I doe
       Now hereby for me my heirs ex.rs and adm.rs Ratifie Confirm and hold
       for Good and Valid what soever my said Agent hath done in Relation
       to the said addition and his and your receiveing the same do and for his
       and your own proper use and behoofe And do further hereby Acquit
       Exonerate Release and for ever Discharge as well the heirs ex.rs & adm.rs
       of the said Col Henry Darnell as your self your heirs ex.rs and
       administrators of and from all Claymes and Demands whatsoever
       in referrence to the said addition hereby further impowering and
       Authorizeing you your ex.rs and adm.rs to receive and take to and for your
       and their own proper use such part of the said addition as may still be
       Out Standing in Debts whether by bond Account or Otherwise
       howsoever altho payable to me or any other in trust for me hereby
       further Authorizeing and Empowering you to continue the said
       Addicionall price upon warrants so long as the said Secretary and
       Chancellor continue their Claime and Demand of the said Moiety
       of the said fee and take and receive the said Addition To and for your
       own use Dureing your Continuance in the Office of Register
       of Our Land office

       And whereas my late Son in Law Edward Somersett Esquire
       was trustee for me in my said Province of Maryland ^and as^ such severall
       Bonds Bills fo Exchange accounts and other Duties properly
       belonging to me were made transacted settled and passed in the Name
       thought to and for my proper use account and benefitt And for as
       much as you have upon the Death of the said Edward (haveing no
       other estate in the said Province but my estate in trust) taken
       out Letters of administration of his Estate without sufficient
       Authority from me or the executors or administrators of the
