       of Attorney Be it Knowne & Manifest unto all tho who shall see these
       presents or hear the same Read that on the Twenty Eighth
       Day of the Month of November Anno Dom 1718 and in the fifth
       Year of the Reigne of Our Sovereigne Lord George by the Grace
       of God King of Great Brittaine &c.a Before me James Dunnidge
       Notary & Tabelion publick Residing in London by Royall
       Authority Duly Admitted & Sworn & in the presents of the Wittnesses
       Hereafter Names personally Appeared Mess.rs Gilbert Higginson Rob.t
       Bird of London Marchents Who Declared to Have made ordained
       Constituted Authorised & Appointed ^and by these presents Doth make ordaine constitute authorize and appoint^ M.r Patrick Sympson of Maryland
       Marchent & in case of his Mortality or Absence Cap.t John Carpenter
       of Maryland afd Mariner their true and Lawfull Attorney Giving
       And by these psents jontly & severally granting unto the said Patrick
       Sympson and in case of Mortality or Absence unto the said Jn.o Carpenter
       or either of them joyntly and severally full power and Lawfull
       Authority for them the said Constituants in their name & to their
       use to Ask Demand Leavy Sue for and by all Lawfull Waies &
       Means recover and Receive of & from all & every person or psons
       of what Degree or Quality soever whome it shall or may concern
       in habiting in Maryland af.d all & every such sum & sumes of
       of Money Goods Wares Marchandizes Effects Estate & things whatsoever
       Due or to Grow Due & Owing and Belonging or in any wise appertaining
       to them the said constituants whether by bond note Bill
       Book Debt Account Consignment for or by what Other
       Reason or Means soever Nothing Excepted Nor Reserved and to y.t
       and with all and and every pson or psons of what Degree or
       Quality soever whome it shall or May Concern to Account and to
       View settle & adjust all accounts and the Ballance therof to
       Receive upon Recoveries or Receipts to Give one or More Acquittances
       or other sufficient Discharges in due forme of Law But in
       Case of Refusall or Delay by any pson or psons of what Degree
       or Quallity soever whome it shall or May Concern to Make and
