1 Know all men by these presents that I [illegible] of the City of Bristoll Merch.t have made Compl.t [illegible] authorize & appoint and in my place and stead p M.r Carroll Phillip Hoskins of portobacco in Charles County Maryland My True and lawfull attorny for me and name & to my [illegible] or for or in the names and to the use of me Hugh Hayward and Richard Franklin Merch.ts and Hester James widdow all of the Citty of Bristoll Owners of the shipp Mary and Sarah of Bristoll whereof Elisha James Decd late husband of the said Hester James was late Master or for and in the names of [illegible] and them or any other owners of the said shipp take demand and Receive of and from the heires Executors or Administrators or the Estate or Effects of John Weaver formerly of the said Citty of Bristoll but afterwards of Maryland [illegible] all such sume and sumes of Money goods wares Merchandizes effects and Demands whatsoever as are or shall be any wayes Due oweing or belonging unto me or to me and Company owners of the said shipp from the said John Weaver or his Estate upon and by vertue of Two Severall bills of Exchange both [illegible] Chester River Aprill the 14.th 1705 Drawn by the said John Weaver on M.r John Pilsworth in Winestreete in Bristoll the one being for Fifty pounds and the other for one and forty pounds payable to me and Company owners of the said shipp Thirty Dayes after sight the said bills haveing been protested the Eighteen Day of August 1705 for non acceptance and the thirteenth Day of September 1705 for non payment or upon or by vertue of the said protests or Either of them or by any other wayes or Means whatsoever Giveing and by these presents Granting and my said attorny my good Right full power and lawfull Authority to sue arrest attach impleade imprison and prosecute the heires Execs or administrators of the said John Weaver or any or Either of them or his their or Either of their goods Effects or Estates attorny or attornys under him my said attorny to sett and substitute and the same at his pleasure to Revesal Composition and by agreement touching the premises to make and upon Receipt thereof or any part thereof Receipts Acquittances and other lawfull Discharges to make and Execute and all and Every or Either of the person or persons aforesaid to Release and Discharge and Generally to Doe all Lawfull Acts and Things which shall be needfull Necessary to be Done in or to touching the Recovery of these premises |
