998 for and in Consideration of the sume of Five shill and six pence sterl Currant & lawfull money of England at or before y.e sealing and delivery of these presents to him in hand paid or secured to be paid the Receipt whereof he the said James doth hereby acknowledge & thereof & of Every part & parcell thereof doth hereby for himself & his heirs Exonerate acquitt & discharge them the said Charles & Henry & therewith hold himself fully satisfyed Hath Bargained sold Aliened Enfeoffed & Confirmed as by these presents he doth for him & his heirs Bargain, sell, alleine, Enfeoffe, & Confirme unto them the said Henry & Charles their heirs & assignes for ever All that these severall tracts of Land herein after specefied (that is to say) two tracts of Land lying in Prince Georges County the one called & known by the name of Josephs Parke the other Called Hermitage both w.ch tracts Cont.a Eight thousand & Eighty acres of land more or less, four hundred forty & five acres more whereon he the said James now Liveth Called Also three hundred seventy & six acres more lying in Annarundell Co.ty Adjoyning to my Lords manner upon the Ridge late in the Tenure & occupation (of) |
