       under him or otherwise  And the said George
       doth further for himselfe and his heires
       covenant promise Grant & agree to & with
       him y.e said Charles Carroll his heires & assis
       that he will for ever Warrant & defend the
       Lands & premises hereby bargaind & sold as
       well against himselfe & his heires as ag.t
       all maner of persons claimes or other incumbrances
       w.tsoever  Provided Allways & it
       is the true intent & meaning of these p.rsents
       that whereas there ^h^as been an Intercourse
       of trade & dealing between the Above said
       George young and the said Charles Carroll
       whereby the said George is become indebted
       to him y.e s.d Charles in the s.d sume of thirty
       Eight pounds fourteen shill & two pence
       for payment whereof he hath remitted
       Three bills of Exchange all of one tenour &
       date drawne or a certaine Sam.ll Groome
       merchant in London and payable to him
       the s.d Charles Carroll at twenty days sight
       of them or either of them  If therefore
       the said bills or any one of them shall be
       duely accepted & paid according to tenour
       and date to him the s.d Charles Carroll or
       his order then this Deed & all the Articles
       Clauses & Covenants therein shall be null
