881 Maryland fs Know All men by these presents that wee Josiah Wilson of Ann Arundell County Gent W.m Bladen and Charles Carroll of the same place Esq.r are holden & firmly bound unto our sovereigne Lady Anne & in y.e full sume and Just Quantity of Two hundred thousand pounds of good sound Merchantable leafe tobacco and casque to be paid to her said Maj.ty her heires and successors to y.e which payment well & truely to be made wee binde our selves and either of us our and eithr of our heires Executors and Administrators Joyntly and Severally for the whole and in the whole firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seales and dated the sixteenth day of October in y.e fourth Yeare of our Reigne &c Annoq Dm 1705 The Condition of y.e Above obligacon is such that y.e the above bounden Josiah Wilson do well & truely serve her sd Majesty her heires and successors in y.e Office of high sheriff of y.e County of Ann Arundell within y.e province afd and Alsoe shall render unto her said Maj.ty and others her officers a true faithfull and Perfect Account of all and singuler her Ma.ts rights and dues & to her officers a true & Just Account of their fees that he shall or may be entituled with by her Maj.ts Governo.r and other her officers within this province to receive and Collect And his Account to her sd Maj.ty her heires and successors & to her and their Governour here for the time being for y.e fines and forfeitures and other dues belonging to her said Maj.ts Governour As also his Account of all dues fees and Sumes of money or tobacco for leavys or fees |
