680 pounds of good sound Merchantable leafe Tobacco to him in hand paid at or before the Ensealing and delivery of these presents by the said Jn.o Jacob the receipt whereof he the said Richard Cheeney doth hereby acknowledge himselfe therewith fully satisfied Content and paid and thereof and of Every parte and parcell thereof doth Clearly acquitt Exonerate and Discharge the said Jn.o Jacob his heires and assignes for Ever by these presents hath Given Granted aliened bargained sold Enffeofed and Confirmed and by these presents Doth fully Clearly and absolutely Give Grant bargaine sell allien Enfeoff and Confirme unto the said John Jacob his heires and assignes for Ever All that peice parcell or tract of Land Called Jacobs Hope being parte of a tract of land Called Cheeneys adventure lyeing on the west side of petuxen River in prince Georges County begining at a bounded red Oake standing by the River side and runing west one hundred Eighty Eight perches to a bounded white Oake then south Twenty Nine Degrees west sixty four perches to a bounded red Oake then south one hundred forty seven perches to a bounded white Oake standing near a branch at the head of a small valley then East by North to petuxen River then with the said River to the first bounded tree Containing and laid out for Two hundred acres of land be the same more or less together with all itts Rights members & appurtences to the same belonging or in any wise appurtaining together with all trees timber trees woods underwoods fruit trees Dwelling houses out houses tobacco houses barnes stables Edifices (buildings) |
