(621) The Indenture made the Eleventh day of May in the Y.r of our Lord 1702 Between Tho.s Brown & of the County of Baltem.r Gent of the one part and Charles Carroll of the Co.ty of Ann Arund.ll Gent of the other part Wittnesseth that the s.d Tho.s for & in Consider.n of the neat q.ty of fifty two thousand two hundred pounds of tob to him in hand p.d or secured to be p.d by the sd Charles the receipt whereof he the said Charles Tho.s doth hereby acknowledge and thereof & of every pt & Pcell thereof doth hereby fully clearly absolutely Exonerate aquitt & discharge well so Acknowledge and thereof and of Every parte and parcell thereof doth hereby fully Clearly and absolutely Exonerate acquitt and Discharge the said Charles his heirs Ex.rs and adm.rs Hath Given Granted bargained sold aliened Enfeofed and Confirmed as by these presents hee the said Thomas doth for him and his heires Give Grant bargaine sell aliene Enfeofe and Confirme unto him the said Charles Carroll and to his heires all those two severall tracts or parcells of land the one Called the stop and Concerning four hundred acres lying nigh unto the said River of susquehannah the other Called ackington and Containing five hundred acres high unto a Creek Called Swans Creeke both w.ch said tracts are scituate lying and being in the County of Baltemore afd and now are or late were In the possession of the said Thomas together with all and singular the dwelling out houses Tobacco houses Gardins barnes (stables) |
