558) Whitehall Aug.t the 6.th 1701 S.r His Majesty having been graciously pleased by his letters pattents under the Great Seale of England To Grant unto You the office and Place of Secretary of his Province of Maryland in America These are in Pursuance of his Majesties Instructions to his Captaine Generall and Governour in Cheif in Andover his Said Province to direct and Require You and the Secretary of the said province for the time being to Provide Transcripts of All such Laws Acts of Government & Publique Orders as shall be made from time ^to time^ Together w.th Transcripts of the Journalls of the Councill And of All Such papers as are or ought to be Entred and Registred within Your Said office And to deliver the same to his Majestys said Captaine Generall or to the Governour in Cheif of the Said Province for the time being as also duplicates thereof and Other further Copies as their May be Occasion To the end they May be Transmitted To his Majesty And To Us his Majesties Comissioners for Trade & Plantations as directed by his Majesties S.r Tho.s Lawrence Baron.a fores.d |
