(540) Nevertheless and itt is the True intent and Meaneing of the partys to these presents and Either of them that if the said John Stanley his heires Ex.rs Adm.rs or assignes or any of them Doe and shall well and Truely pay or Cause to be paid out of the Publick Leavies to be Collected Annually in any of the Countyes of the westerne side of the bay of Chesepeak within this province Excepting the County of Baltemore unto the said Rich.d Marsham his heires or assignes the Neate quantity of Eleaven thousand and Ninty pounds of Tobacco by four Equall Annuall paym.ts the first whereof To be made the Tenth day of Novemb.r next and soe yearely att the same time untill the said sume shall be fully Compleated and satisfied that Then this Present Indenture and all and Every the Matt.rs and things therein Contained shall Cease Determine be voide and of none Effect to all Intents and purposes any thing herein Contained to the Contrary thereof in any wise nottwithstanding In Wittness whereof the partyes to these presents have hereunto interchangeable sett to there hands and affixed theire seales the day and yeare first above written Sealed & Delivered in the presence of Jn.o Stanley (seale) Charles Carroll on the back side of W.m Read the foregoeing deed was thus Endorst (viz.t) |
