             This is a true Coppy of the Register of Witton
             Gilbert seen and attested by us

       Examined and also                 James Robinson

       Tho Comber Deane Durham


       William Taylor Henry Clarke and Roger Thornton
       all of the parish of Witton Gilbert in the County of Durham
       yeomen do Joyntly and severally make oath that they
       very Well knew Thomas Taylor late of Witton Gilbert
       aforesaid Taylor and Alice his wife both of them now
       decd and that the said Thomas Taylor had Issue by
       the said alice his Wife Michaell Stephen Eleanor
       and Alice and that Michaell Taylor went from
       Witton Gilbert aforesaid about three and twenty
       yeares since to maryland in the West Indies and
       about twelve yeares since Came back to Witton Gilbert
       aforesaid and then sold a small tenement there and
       returned back soon after to Maryland aforesaid
       Where he lately dyed as these Depts have hearde
