       In the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred Ninty five
       did Give and Grant unto y.e sd Job Evans all that Tract or
       parcell of Land called Friends Discovery and Containing by
       the survey thereof one thousand Acres  Now this p.rsent
       Indenture Witnesseth that y.e sd Job Evens & Sarah
       his wife for & In consideracon of the sume of one hundred
       and sixty pounds Currant Money of England to them in
       hand paid or secured to be paid at or before the Ensealing
       and Delivery of these p.rsents by the sd Francis Maulding
       The receipt whereof they Doe hereby Acknowledge &
       thereof and of every parte & parcell thereof they the s.d
       Job and Sarah his wife doe hereby fully Exonerate acquitt
       and Discharge the sd Francis Maulding his Heirs & Assignes
       for Ever Hath Given Granted Bargaind sold aliened Enfeoffed
       and Confirmed as by these p.rsents they the sd Job &
       Sarah his wife doe for them & their Heirs Give Grant
       bargain Sell Allien Enfeofe and Confirme unto him the sd
       Francis Maulding his Heirs and Assignes all that y.e afsd
       Tract or parcell of Land Called Friends Discovery bying
       in Baltemore County in the woods being parte of a ridge
       Called Little Brittain  Begining at three bounded white
       oakes standing by a branch of the Herring run Near
       Thurstons Road and runing thence west four hundred
       twenty Nine pches towards Jones's falls to a bounded
       Hiccory standing on a Levell then from the sd Hiccory
       south Three hundred & Eighty pches to a bounded oake
       standing in a valley Near to a branch of Jones's falls
       then East four hundred twenty Nine pches to a bounded
       white oake then w.th a direct line to y.e first bound tree
       Cantaining & laid out for one thousand Acres More
