(169) Maryland fs Elkridge apr.ll 9.th 1700 Be it knowne to all men by these psents that I Edward Dorsey of baltem.r County and margarett my wife for Divers Good Causes and Consideracons as unto moveing and namely for the setling & Disposeing of such Goods and Chatles as God hath blessed us with all for y.e advancem.t and pferm.t of our Children after my Death in manner and forme as is hereafter Expresed and Declared and for prevention of Questions & Controvercyes that might arrise or Grow accordingst my said wife and Children touching the same to there Great Less and prejudice If Either I should not Dispose of it in my Life time but Leave them to the Disposition of the Law in this behalfe or Else only bequeath the same by will I have Given And Granted and by this my psent Deed of Guift Deed Give Grant and assigne unto my welbeloved frinds maj.r John Hamond Cap.t Cha Hamond and my eldest sone Edward Dorsey five small planta^c^ons in Baltemore County afd fower of w.ch adjoines to the plantacon I now Live on at Elkridge the other on the south side of patapscoe river a Little below y.e falls with what men and women negroes |
