(163) Octob.r 10.th 1700 Then recd Two and Forty Shillings for Allenacon fine of a pcell of Land of M.r George Biggers As vide convey.a in 130 folio I say Recd for the use of M.r Rich.d Bennett & M.r James heath P Mr W Taylard Clk This Indenture made the second Day of may in the yeare of our Lord one Thous.d seaven hundred Between Tho.s Browne of Ann Arundell County planter of the One part and John Gadsby of the said County on the Other part Witnesseth that whereas y.e said Tho.s Brown by his Lord shipps Lett.rs pattents bareing Date the Tenth Day of November one Thousand six hundred ninty & five under the Great Seale of this pvince had Granted unto him A certaine tract of Land Called Brownes adventure Containeing One Thousand Acres Now these psents Witnesseth that he the said Tho.s Brown for and in Consideracon of the sume of one hundred pounds sterling unto him in hand paid by the said John Gadsby the receipt whereof he Doth hereby acknowledge and of every part and parcle thereof Doth fully Exonerate acquitt and Discharge the said alliened Enfeofed and Confirmed as by these psents he Doth Give Grant bargaine sell allien Enfeofe and Confirme unto him the said John Gadsby all that tract |
