874 (84 Tam infra Libertates et Francheiss quam extra quod Tibi et Deputato tup quicuq alysq Officiarys ejusdem vice Adm.tis Nre in Provincia Teritorio Nostris de Maryland predict et partibus maritimis eorundem et eisdem adjacentibus quibuscunq per Te assignatis seu assignandis urea executionem Premissor et eorum cujuslibet intendentes faventes auxiliantes parentes pariles et obedientes sint in omnibus preat decet sub pena Juris et perticulo incumben Datum Londini in Suprema Curia Admiralitatis Nostræ Angliæ predict sub sigillo ejusdem Magno Quinto die mensis Marty Anno Domini Stylo Angliæ 1693 Regniq Nri Sexto Orlando Gee Reg.rius Maryland fs Know all men by these p.rsents that Wee Mathew Ward and Richard Tilghman of Talbott County in the Province afd Gent are holden and firmly bound unto his Ex.cy Francis Nicholson Esq.r Capt Gen.ll and Gov.r in Cheife of this Province in the full sum of five hundred pounds Lawfull Money of England to be paid unto the said Francis Nicholson Esq.r his heires Ex.rs or Adm.rs To the which payment well and Truly to be made Wee bind our selfs our heires Ex.rs and Adm.rs firmly by these p.rsents as wittness our hands and seales this day of September Annoq Domini 1698 The Condition of this Obligation is such that Whereas his Ex.cy Francis Nicholson Esq.r hath deputed and appoynted the abovesaid Mathew Ward To be Deputy Clk of Talbott County under M.r Thomas Lawrence Cheife Clk of the said County Now in his Maj.tyes Service at Sea and hath thereby Committed to his Care and Charge and Custody all the Records Co.rt Rolls and papers to the said County Court belonging or appertaining Now if the said Mathew Ward doe in all things According to the Duty and Trust reposed in him of Deputy Clk afd truly Execute and pforme the same and the said Records Cort Rolls Deeds and writtings thereunto belonging doe well and truly keep and preserve and true entryes and Records of all proceedings of the said Court doe well and faithfully make and enter without fraud Concealement or delay and allsoe Yearly during his said Continuance in the said Office make out true and pfect accounts of all fees growing due to the Clk of the said Court and Transmitt the same to his Ex.cy the Gov.r without Diminution or Concealement at or upon the last day of November in Every Year then this Obligation to be voyd and of None Effect otherwise to remaine in full force and Virtue Signed Sealed and Deliverd in p.rsence of M Ward (seale) Chr Gregory Rich Tilghman (seale) Maryland fs Know all men by these p.rsents that Wee Christopher Gregory and William Bladen of Ann Arundell County are holden & firmly bound unto his Sacred Maj.tys King William the third his heires and successo.rs in the sum of one hundred pounds Currant Money of England To the which payment well and Truly to be made Wee bind ourselfs our heires Ex.rs and Adm.rs Joyntly & severally by these p.rsents sealed with our seales and dated this first day of October in the Year of our Lord 1698 The Condition of this Obligation is such that whereas his Ex.cy Francis Nicholson Esq.r his Maj.tys Capt Gen.ll and Gov.r in Cheife in and over the Province of Maryland by virtue of a Power from the Honble S.r Thomas Laurence Baron.t his Maj.tyes principle sec.ry of the said Province hath Constituted and appoynted the above said Christopher Gregory to be Clk of Ann Arundell County afd and thereby Committed to his Custody all the Bookes Records Cost Rolls and other Deeds and papers to the said place and office of Clk afd belonging or apprtaining Now if the said Christopher Gregory doe in all things according to the Duty and Trust of his said place and Office well and truly take Care of keep and preserve and true Entry and Records of all Matters Judgmts and Ord.rs of Court and other Judiciall proceedings doe well and faithfully make and enter without any fraud Concealmt or delay as allsoe yearly during his Continuance in the said Office bring unto the said S.r Thomas Laurence or his Certaine Att.ry a fair List of all the fees growing due to the Clk of the said Court without Duminution or fraud at or upon the tenth day of December Yearly And the said Office and place with all the Records Bookes Costs Rolls and other Deeds and Writtings thereunto belonging doe surrender and deliver up when he shall be Lawfully discharged of the said Office and place of Clk as afd then this Obligation be leveyd or else to remaine in full force and virtue Signed Sealed and Deliverd in Christopher Gregory Clk (seale) p.rsence of John Freeman W Bladen (seale) John Murrough John Newsam Recorded Octob.r 7.th 1698 |
