       Bee it known unto all Men by these p.rsents that I William Cooper of London Mariner (in the
       behalf of My self and the rest of the owners of the ship Jestrys) have made ordained constituted
       and appoynted and by these p.rsents doe make ordain constitute and appoynt my Loving Freind M.r
       Richard Bennett of Talbott County in the Province of Maryland M.rchant my true and Lawfull
       att.ry for me in my Name and stead and to my use (and the rest of the owners of the said ship) to ask
       demand sue for Leavy recover and receive of and from M.r William Sharp of Talbott County afd M.rcht
       and all and every or any other pson or psons whatsoever within the said Province whome it doth may or shall
       Concerne all such Tobbacco sum or sums of Money and all Debts as is or are or shall or may be due
       owing comeing or belonging to me and the owners of the sd ship from the sd W.m Sharp or any other
       pson or psons whatsoever within the said Province for or by reason or meanes or in respect of any Bond
       Bill Acc.tt or other Act Matter Cause or thing whatsoever Giveing and by these p.rsents granting unto my
       said Att.ry my full power and Lawfull and absolute authority in and touching the pemises or any
       pt threof to doe say sue implead prosecute pursue seize sequester arrest attach imprison and
       to condemn and out of Prison to Deliver and to Compound Agree Acquitt Release and discharge and
       one Att.ry or more under him to substitute or appoynt and at his pleasure to revoke and Generally
       to doe pforme and accomplish all and every or any other Lawfull and reasonable Act Matter Cause
       or thing whatsoever as shall be Meett Needfull or Expedient to be done in or about the pemises as
       fully and effectually to all Intents and purposes as I my self might or Could doe the same If I were
       there p.rsent and did the same psonally And all and whatsoever my said Att.ry or any his substitute or
       substitutes shall Lawfully doe or Cause or procure to be done in or about the pemises or any pt
       thereof to the use afd I doe and will Ratifye and Confirme y.e same for ever by these p.rsents In
       wittness whreof I have hereunto set my hand and seale this fourteenth day of May Anno Domi
