(754 Annexed Dated in London the seaven and Twentieth Day of Jan.ry Annoq Dm 1692 And in the forth yeare of the Reigne of William and Mary King and Queene of England &c.a Goodfellow Locus sigill Memorandum The 17.th Day of Jan.ry in the forth yeare of our Reigne Anno Dm 1692 Came Elizabeth Carter Before me John Fleet Knight and Mayor of the City of London And then and there Acknowledged this p.rsent Writeing Indented to be her Act and Deed John Fleet Mayor This Indenture made the second Day of November Anno Dm 1695 in the seaventh yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord William y.e Third by the Grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defend.r of the Faith &c.a Beetween John Charlett of Priors Cleeve in the County of Worchester husbandman and the only Brother and heir of Richard Charlett late of y.e Province of Maryland in the County of Calvert in Puttuxant River in Swansons Creeke Merchant Deceased And Mary the Wife of the said John Charlett Richard King of London Wyredrawer and Katherine his Wife John Salter of Priors Cleeve aforesaid husbandman and Mary his Wife & Nathaniell Brian of London Gent and Frances his Wife Which said Katherine Mary and Frances were Three of the sisters of the said Richard Charlett at the time of his Death of the one part and Edward Carleton of London Merchant of y.e other part Wittnesseth that the said John Charles and Mary his Wife Rich.d Kings and Katherine his Wife John Salter and Mary his Wife and Nathaniel Brian and Frances his Wife for and in Consideracon of the sume of two hundred and Eighty five pounds of Lawfull Money of England to them in hand paid by the Edward Carleton at and before the Ensealeing and Delivery of these p.rsents in Manner and forme followeing that is to say the said John Charlett The sume of sixty pounds to the said Richard Kings and Katherine his Wife the sume of seaventy five pounds to the said John Salter and Mary his wife the sume of seaventy five pounds And to the said Nathaniel Brian & Frances his Wife the sume of seaventy five pounds the receipt whereof they Doe hereby severally and respectively Acknowledge Accordingly and thereof and of every part thereof Doe Clearely acquitt Exonerate and Discharge the said Edward Carleton his heirs and every of them for ever by these p.rsents have Granted Released Enfeoffed and Confirmed And by these p.rsents Doe & Each & Every of them doth fully freely and absolutely grant release enfeoff and Confirme unto the said Edward Carleton (in his Actuall possession Now being by vertue of A Bargaine and Sale to him thereof Made by the sd John Charlett And Mary his Wife Richard Kings and Katherine his wife and John Salter and Mary his Wife and Nathan.ll Brion and Frances his Wife for one whole yeare by indenture beareing Date the Day before the Day of the Date hereof And by force of the statute |
